The lack of an arch puts a huge amount of stress on your knees which is why they&#039;re in pain. If you have orthotics, this pain will go away instantly. Your flat feet should also have increased the strength in your tibialis anterior, which is a important muscle for jumping and explosiveness. I know all this because I am flat footed as well and had a 34&quot; vertical in high school purely from playing basketball 5 days a week. NEVER working out or weight lifting. Had I worked out, I would have been able to dunk instead of just grab rim.</description>
