One of the best ways to be better at your sport is simply to be stronger.
Almost all sports require some form of weight lifting because as the sports get more and more competitive, every athlete is looking for that edge to be the best.
I remember Dwayne Wade, Dwight Howard, and LeBron James, are incredibly strong guys.
You can tell just by looking at them.
Sure, conditioning, drills, and isometric training have their places in your training regimen, but to really become a stronger athlete, nothing beats good old fashion weight lifting.

I thought I had seen it all when it comes to MJ’s dunks, but I clearly missed one of his best.
I just found this dunk on YouTube and thought I’d share it with you.
The dunk happened during a 1986 Nike sponsored exhibition game in Italy.
Now that’s how to dunk a basketball!
Some people say this clip is fake, and that this is not the real Jordan, but I believe it’s legit.

Let’s get real for a second.
- You want results from your training.
- You want the best results in the quickest possible time.
Just because your workout is ‘neat’, and just because it is difficult does not mean it is creating the desired training effect.
