There are literally HUNDREDS of sports training programs available today.
Unfortunately, 99% of them are complete crap and don’t work at all!
They are full of outdated, rehashed, and totally irrelevant information.
I have tried and tested dozens of sports training programs over the years.
These sports training program reviews are based on my personal experience as well as those of the athletes I have trained over the years.

I am also 14, I can almost touch rim right now and I am five foot eight and a half. I wouldnt have very good access to a gym for the weight lifting. So should I get this or not? I am going to be a freshman and I want to be able to dunk by the time basketball season comes around. It would be sweet.

Hello Deran I have some exercises for you. Do squats. Crouch down using your calves and keep your back straight, do this as many times as you feel you can. Toe raises are also an effective exercise to increase your vertical. go on your toes and then slowly come back down. Explosive squats have the same beginning as regular spuats but you jump as high as you can after squatting in a rather quick motion. Jacknives are good too. Lie on your back with arms overhead and bend upward and touch your toes. Box jumps are nice also. Take a platform about 8-14 inches of the ground and jump on it then jump back down and repeat. you can also jump over the box and back or jump sideways over the box. Jump on one or two stairs and then jump back down. Jump rope a lot, and run up stairs using ankle weights and also add ankle weights or dumbells to your workout and rope jumping. I don’t know much about the long jump, I”m really sorry about that. This is the vertical jump exercise that I do everyday I usually do more exercises, and I have already gained 2 inches in just 2 weeks. I used to have a 17 inch vertical and know I have a 19 inch vertical and when jumping can touch a 7 foot 6 1/2 inch rim. I really want you to know that you shouldn/t strain yourself. Take 5 days to workout and 2 to rest thats what I do. Well I hope you will be jumping higher soon!

Hi,
I have been searching all over the Internet for some type of Internet jumping program that will actually give me results….I am 6’4” and 14 years old and I can barely skim the edge of the rim…..I have tried everything and I am wondering if the jump manual is for me? Can you help me out? I have no hops!!!!!! Please let me know if you can help?
July 19, 2009 at 7:13 pm
Hey Spencer. From personal experience, I can tell you that the Jump Manual will work. It helped me get over the 40 inch plateau and its also helped thousands of other athletes improve their vertical jump. I highly recommend the program. Also check out my other content on this website for more on vertical jump training.
July 20, 2009 at 2:07 pm

I just want to know if swats are appropriate for jumping high.
And do you need to gain muscles to jump high.

August 8, 2009 at 1:17 pm
Hey Harley, Today the vertical project is selling for 23.77, and plus you get to test drive it for 14 days free!
August 18, 2009 at 1:26 am
jump manual is for real. Im going into 8th grade. In may, I couldnt touch rim and now Im dunking a volleyball. That also doesn’t count the 2-3 weeks i took off for vacation sickness, sorness, football etc. If you have to choose a program choose jump manual, if you do it right you will see results!

June 1, 2010 at 5:12 pm
Yes you should! I am 11 years old and 4 foot 9 and my vertical is 17 inches and I am using free vertical exercise info.

Hi, SuperJump10, on YouTube, the video is amazing, Im Jumping 4 & 1/2 feet in the air. The video is on 92.3 FM under DJ Toro webpage
April 11, 2010 at 3:00 am
Are the Jump Manual, Truth about quickness and effective ball handling program effective if I do all of them at once
Cheers
April 12, 2010 at 1:19 pm
Hey Bernie. I would do them SEPARATELY, depending on your goals and priorities. Doing them together will lead to over-training.
November 2, 2010 at 12:16 pm
ey im 14 like the rest and i have a 38-40 inch vertical (i know sounds like major BS)and im 5’10″. i wanted to know if u can give me some tips or somethin so i can be able to dunk when im 15 or when im 6’0″..thanks.
November 13, 2010 at 8:52 am
Well, you are probably full of BS because if you have a 38 inch vertical at 5’10 your head would be about 1 foot from the rim in the air. With that vertical you should be able to dunk.
January 1, 2011 at 6:01 am
I am 12, 5’9″. I have a herniated disk. I cannot do squats with weights.
Do you think I can do this? Does this require wt. training?
January 5, 2011 at 11:40 am
Hey Haadi. I would wait until you are completely healed before using any heavy weights
January 30, 2011 at 8:07 am
Hey, i have just started using ankle weights and over two weeks of intense workouts and stair running i have increased my hops by 5 inches (21″ to 26″). Is this an unusual increase?
March 17, 2011 at 3:16 am
i am 20 and 5’10 i can touch the bottom of the rim now and i dont really lift weights or anything i was wondering if the jump manual will help increase my vertical enough to dunk?
July 24, 2011 at 9:06 am

I’m 17 years old and 6 foot 3. I’m able to grab rim but i get stuffed by the rim when I attempt a dunk. I also have trouble jumping off of one foot, I’m a better two foot jumper. I have tried air alert and I thought it was a good program but I want to make sure that it is the absolute best. If you could reply to me with some tips on technique of jumping off of one foot and which program is the best out of these I would really appreciate it.
